Dr. Ben Frenchak is a passionate Christian educator, ministry leader, and lifelong servant of Christ. After meeting his wife, Candace, in college, they have spent more than 29 years building a Christ-centered marriage and family. As parents of three sons, the Frenchaks have embraced a life filled with adventure, service, and meaningful family experiences. Whether leading worship, teaching Sunday School, cheering from the sidelines at soccer games and track meets, exploring the outdoors through hiking, camping, and bouldering, or enjoying concerts and community events, they value every opportunity to grow together and connect with others.

Their family is deeply committed to living out their faith through service, discipleship, and worship. Over the years, Ben and Candace have served in a variety of church ministries, coached youth sports, led musical productions, and invested in teaching young people what it means to love and worship God with their heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Professionally, Dr. Frenchak brings extensive experience in both education and ministry. He holds degrees from Grove City College, James Madison University, and Liberty University and has pursued additional studies at several colleges and universities. Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of leadership roles, including high school band director, varsity soccer coach, youth pastor, associate pastor, middle school principal, and head of school.

With a heart for missions and discipleship, Ben has led student and adult ministry teams around the world and has shared the Gospel in more than fifteen countries. His passion is helping others grow in their faith while equipping the next generation to lead with conviction, character, and purpose.

Today, the Frenchak family is honored to serve the Roanoke community through the ministries of Shenandoah Baptist Church and Roanoke Valley Christian Schools. They are committed to partnering with families to raise up a generation of young people who love Jesus Christ with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength and who are prepared to make a lasting impact for His Kingdom.
