Thomas and Heather Anglin have been members of Shenandoah Baptist Church since 2021. They both received Christ and were baptized at a young age in their respective churches in Roanoke, Virginia. They were married in 2012 and will be celebrating 14 years of marriage in April 2026.
Thomas is a graduate of Roanoke Valley Christian Schools (class of 1996), attended Emory & Henry College, and Pensacola Christian College. Heather is a graduate of Northside High School and attended college to pursue a career in criminal justice, a field she worked in for years until deciding to join her husband in their family business.
Thomas and Heather have been blessed with two children Briley and Chanse, who both attend RVCS. Briley is in 5th grade, and Chanse is in 4th grade. The family serves Shenandoah, RVCS, and Camp Eagle in any way they can. The Lord has been so faithful to their family, and they want to give him all the praise!
The Elders of Shenandoah Baptist Church are charged with the human oversight of the church. They supervise every aspect of the church’s ministry, including the church’s adherence to Biblical integrity, organizational structure, financial accountability, Christ-honoring behavior, and ministry effectiveness.
Accordingly, the men who are appointed to serve as Elders must be men who are above reproach in their personal, family, church, business, civic, and social life. They must be men who adhere to the church’s statement of faith, give themselves in service to others, harbor no unconfessed sin, quickly and Biblically confront broken relationships, take unpopular stands for the cause of rightness, and faithfully support by service, testimony, prayer, participation, attendance, finances, deportment and vision the various ministries of the church according to 1 Timothy 3:1-7 & Titus 1:5-9.
The Elders of Shenandoah Baptist Church now present the name of Thomas Anglin for the church’s evaluation for possible Elder service to the church. Members of the church are asked to state their approval or disapproval below. Any church member with reason to disapprove of Thomas’ appointment should check the appropriate space and privately share the reason for disapproval with one of the Pastors or one of the Elders.
Any anonymous disapproval will be disregarded. Responses must be received in the Church Office by Sunday, January25, 2026.
