Mark was raised in Hardy, Virginia. He trusted Christ as his savior at the age of nine and was discipled by a loving family and the staff of Roanoke Valley Christian Schools. God called him to commit his life to the Word and ministry during his senior year at RVCS.
After completing two years at Word of Life Bible Institute (NY) and his Bachelor of Science at Baptist Bible College of PA, he returned to Roanoke to minister at his home church (youth pastor) and RVCS (teacher/athletic director). During this time, God uniquely led him to Meagan. It was over from the moment he saw her. God has since blessed them with six amazing daughters!
Mark served for two years as an Assistant to the Camp Director (Camp Eagle) and Youth Ministries of Shenandoah before moving to NC. While there, he completed a Master of Divinity in Advance Biblical Studies at Southeastern Theological Seminary.
God moved Mark and Meagan back to Roanoke in 2013 and he served again at RVCS as a teacher/athletic director. In 2018, he transitioned to the church where he could equip others for the work of the ministry. He loves serving and seeing people make their lives all about Jesus. Mark enjoys all sports, griddling, hiking, lake days, and just being with family and friends.
