This course will study the life and legacy of David, king of Israel. Aspects of David’s life to be discussed throughout the class include David’s successes and failures, his view of God, the dynamics of his relationships with his friends, enemies, subordinates, & wives, as well as the ways David’s life is a type of Christ. As a result of this course, students should be able to identify the major themes of David’s life and make application to his/her own life.
