We use music, arts, & lives
to unite, engage & equip for
Gospel-centered, Spirit-led, skillful worship,
magnifying God’s glory in Christ
as the root & fruit of disciple-making

WORSHIP
Worship at Shenandoah is fueled by Gospel proclamation for making Spirit-empowered, Gospel-centered disciples who praise, pray, give, grow and go.  Magnifying the glory of God in Christ, we propel the church into Gospel mission.  In response to His glory, our passion is to take His glorious Gospel to those who have yet to glory in it.

Worship Music
Our music is dynamic and diverse, weaving mostly contemporary songs with hymns and other styles to     magnify the breadth and depth of God’s creative power and His redemptive purpose.  Our worship choir, praise band and wind ensemble lead in various combinations to best serve the music and the message.

Worship Choir
Our worship choir equips and unites us in truth, and inspires us to give ourselves to Spirit-led, skillful worship.  Our leadership goals:  Be focused, be free, be real.  Our motto:  Wednesday we prepare, Sunday we preach, every day we pray.

The choir leads every Sunday morning and prepares on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Rehearsal Hall.  Childcare is provided.     Members 16 and older are welcome to join us without audition any time of year.

Worship Orchestra
Our worship orchestra engages our hearts, minds and bodies and gives vibrancy to the words we sing.  We are currently a 16-piece ensemble driven by a 5-piece band.  We use various instrumentation to best serve the music and the message.

The orchestra plays in every service and prepares on Wednesdays at 8:00pm in the auditorium.  Participation is by invitation or audition.

Children’s Music
KidStrong Bible and Music Club for K4-2nd grade helps accomplish our church’s mission by making disciples who know, trust and worship God in spirit and truth.  Engaging Bible lessons, object lessons, crafts and videos strengthen kids’ knowledge of God’s heart and encourage them to trust Him with theirs.  Structured teaching of age-appropriate, Gospel-centered songs equip kids to worship the God they know in spirit and truth.  Minds made strong; hearts with a song.  KidStrong.

Wednesdays at 6:30pm in Room 311 of the Lower School Building

KidServe Music and Mission Club for 3rd-6th grade helps accomplish our church’s mission by making God-loving disciples and sending them to love people in Jesus’ name.  We build on the KidStrong purpose of knowing God’s heart to begin pursuing God’s heart as our passion through leadership and service.  Kids study the biblical truths of their songs and learn how to read, perform, and lead them in a Gospel-centered, Spirit-led, skillfull way.  The club serves the church through worship leadership and the community through off-campus ministry.  Hearts ignited; hands united.  KidServe.

Sundays at 6:00pm (meeting in the worship service before travelling to the Rehearsal Hall)

Technical Ministries
Our technical team members are our unsung heroes!  Working behind the scenes with sound, visual media, lights, and cameras, they promote our worship and bring us the Word with clarity, excellence, and creativity.  We are always looking for creative, committed, and teachable people to join us.

Team members serve between one and two Sundays per month.
